Besides it also gives me a chance to at least get my new room slightly organized and set up before I go to the con so I can have a place to sleep and stuff like that when I come home, as after all I'm gonna wanna crash and fall over into a bed when I get home, ya now...
The fun part though is the area I'm moving to is near a number of parks and water views, which means lots of new and pretty photo ops for Icky!! So I'm sure your see a flood of new pics over the handful of weeks in that sense too...might do a few pics of Icarus in a moving mode... maybe looking like he's trying to help...

And sadly its no sick belated April Fool's joke, it's quite real....as I have heard pieces on other places and done a little research. Basically if it passes, more or less then unless you copyright EVERY piece of work you own from the very first piece you ever made, then it's free to take for use by whoever wants it. And you will have little to be able to do about it. So please read and speak your voice, cause God help us artists if it passes, especially those who depend on there art as part of there livelihood. For those it'll be like getting robbed....

Helping with planning and execution of a partial Bleach Event and helping with the photo shoots. Constructing 4 badge designs that will be printed in limited quantity for the event. Shinigami (and allies), Bount, Vizards, and Hollows (and allies).
Helping with a Glomp Team idea in progress...
September- AWA!!! (Woot again!) [Sept 19-21 2008]
Looking forward to going back for my second year here.
Also joining DeviantART artists, VenturertheHybrid and Ichigo-Cream in a very interesting side event that currently participation wise is open to the members of the group only, though I'm sure we won't mind folks wanting pictures...the event shall be on Friday so keep your eyes open for the 'cast' making up the "Wonderland Tea Party" Organization XIII, including a King of Hearts Xemnas and Queen of Hearts Siax... Debuting 'Dutchess' Larexene for event
Will have Turk Vincent make appearance (will probably be main piece for AWA), and possibly June of Coyote Ragtime Show debuting
October-November- Youmacon!!!!! [Oct 30-Nov2 2008]
Yes ladies and gents, Youmacon shall be taking place on Halloween this year, so time for some special fun!!! On top of this she moves to her new home in Dearborn at the Hyatt Recency. I am now announcing my costume plans for Youmacon 2008, Pantera Release Grimmjow!!
If for some reason, Pantera Grimmjow is unable to be completed in time for debut, then Turk Vincent and Nel Tu will replace it. If completed before Youmacon, and if lucky before AWA, may see a brief appearance there.

Well let's see on the calender for 2008....so far....all of which I am doing the main heavy prep work on now are:

Adult and Child Nel are nearing completion, with exception of the mask and acquisition of wigs. So planning for a wedding, planning and arranging roomage and registering for badges for each con, gathering the materials and constructing costumes and props and so on. Add to this a full and busy work schedule and being sick briefly, things have been crazy.
This weekend I am off and I plan to take this moment to relax and recuperate....before going into the next phase...including making a round to get my taxes done (><...joy....) and get my bikes brake cables fixed so I can ride my bicycle again. I also can't wait for this horrid cold weather to be over with and the warm weather to return cause I getting tired of the snow, ice and cold....

Yes folks much to what many might seem, I am still alive....
Last time I wrote something was before ACEN....X_x....
Well lets see, what going down in my life at the moment?
Well first off ACEN was a blast, even though had a few 'interesting' things happen including someone throwing a frozen chicken off a balcony which and shattered sending at least one person to the hospital after being impailed in the arm with a piece of the bone.
For the final call on costumes, I did Squall (SeeD Dress- FF8), Ichigo Kurosaki (Bankai- Bleach), and Teru Mikami (Death Note)
For Ichigo am linking to some pics of fellow Cosplay.com members who got me as since I didn't have pics of my own of Ichigo and Teru I haven't managed to upload the Death Note shoot yet...X_x...

Works been crazy, though at least the evil 'inspection season' is over. Hallahuah!!! The dreadful wait for AOA inspections was the most stressful so I think by tehe time they decided to show, intead of ".....-grumble-....", it was...."Thank God!!"
And now the next wave on the convention circuit, Anime Weekend Atlanta XIII (AWA XIII)!!!!
Yes ladies and gents, I will be going to AWA this year, and I am damn sure gonna make sure the 15-17 hour 'red-eye' trip is worth every penny! I have plans to probably do only two costumes for AWA, to help minimze the amount of crap I gotta lig. At the moment looking at reprising my Squall, and if I can get it done (Unless I say fuck my sewing machine and hit e-bay), I am planning to do Zexion from the Organization XIII. I shall definatly be happy to join in on the interesting little Organization XIII takeover that a number of attendees are planning so that should be fun. I shall also be making my first rounds and meet probably a few of my fellow Anime League members for the first time, which I am looking forward to!! It will also be my first con where I am running around as represenative of Anime League for the East Coast. My duties will also probably deal with my duties as a memebr of the 'Cospaly Police'. We basically try to help the cosplay community by commenting and critiqing on real good costumes, but also try to help those who are just O_O 'egads' ones to save there costume or improve it. We basically in essense try to help our fellow cosplayers from the potential scare or humiliation that many of us have learned from experiance.
So if your heading off to AWA, I'll probably see you there!!!

Bankai Ichigo! I'm reprising this one for ACEN X!! In middle of finishing a new Hollow mask. New change compared to Youmacon, A WIG!! Oh god, I was not about to repeat the blinding by hairspray dye again this year. Plus the fact that the inner shirt for this still has a small orange stain on it from the nasty crap.
I shall say this, unless its a absolute emergancy people, trust me on this, fork over the $30 or more and get the wig! Looks better, and I guarentee less crying from ruined cosplays, and stinging burning in your eyes when it gets in them, even more so when you have contacts...

Yes, I have been here for a while, but never really posted an entry. Anyways.....
Yes, I've been playing a lot of Kingdom Hearts 2 recently. Almost finished with it, but I'm going for the whole cookie, including the secret ending. Hanging around in The World That Never Was, though planning to head back and finish some of the last handful of mini-games and side missions before I go for the final boss.
It's fun to see all the sides of the story slowly come together.
